LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) At the conclusion of closed session on Monday, May 19, 2025, the School Board took the following personnel actions:

The School Board approved the appointments of Tammie M. Hoke-Looney as Assistant Principal at Mountain View Elementary School. Also approved was Zachary F. Hamilton as Assistant Principal at Covington Middle School. The School Board also approved Nicole F. Eggleston; Hannah B. Snyder; Elizabeth G. Buchanan; all as English Teachers; all at Alleghany High School.

Jackleen F. Butler was approved as Secretary at Clifton Academy.

Daniel D. Campbell was approved as Custodian at Jackson River Technical Center. The Board also approved Kristen B. Garten; Allison P. Lodge; and Amie I. Shuck; all as Elementary Teachers at; Callaghan Elementary School. Neil M. Dixon was approved as Health and Physical Education Teacher; Leann F. Stout as Title 1 Teacher; and Kelly N. McKinnell as Music Teacher; all at Jeter-Watson Elementary School.

The School Board accepted the resignations of Lauren E. Mabry; Teacher at Callaghan Elementary School; Heather S. Badley; Custodian; and Derek R. Hanna; Paraprofessional/SPED; all at Jeter-Watson Elementary School; Lisa K. Dunster; English Teacher; and Charles D. Leitch; Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach; both at Alleghany High School.

The School Board has accepted the retirements of Howard K. Nicely; Health and Physical Education Teacher at Mountain View Elementary School; Teressa N. Calvert; Paraprofessional/Title 1; and Debra L. Prior; Custodian; both at Jeter-Watson Elementary School; Lana S. Dotson; Paraprofessional/SPED; and Aubrey L. Bishop; Bus Driver/Custodian; both at Covington Middle School. Lori A. Dressler; and Sharon J. Shreve; both Teachers; both at Callaghan Elementary School.
