COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – A grief support session sponsored by Connection Plus Healthcare + Hospice will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the Family Life center of First Christian Church, Covington.  Bill Gilliland, local minister and chaplain/grief counselor with hospice will facilitate the session.

Anyone going through the grief journey is invited and welcome to attend.

Theme and discussion for the session will be taken from material in Alan Wolfelt’s book, “Understanding Your Grief” with special focus on “Exploring the Feelings of Grief.”

“The emotions and feelings we experience in loss of a loved one can be overwhelming.  It is important to be able to identify those feelings and make them part of the reconciliation process in healing,” Gilliland said.

The Family Life Center is located at 231 E. Fudge St., Covington with plenty of parking in the rear.

For more information, call the local Connection Plus office at 540-862-8820.
