PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (VR) -The Alleghany Cougar Girls Tennis team turned in a flawless performance on Friday, sweeping Patrick County 9-0 in a dominant display of depth and determination. The win marks a pivotal moment in the Cougars’ season, bringing their overall record to an even 6-6.

From the opening serve to the final volley, Alleghany left little doubt about their focus and ability. Each of the singles players controlled their matches with confidence, while the doubles teams exhibited strong communication and aggressive net play. The comprehensive victory not only adds another win to the record book, but it also boosts the team’s momentum heading into the closing stretch of the season.
