Michaels Pizza is sponsoring a blood drive at the First Christian Church, located at 231 E. Fudge Street in Covington, on Tuesday, May 13 from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The event will be held in the fellowship hall at the Family Life Center and will run from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. providing ample opportunity for community members to donate blood and help save lives. Blood donations are crucial in ensuring a stable and sufficient blood supply for patients in need. Every two seconds, someone in the United States requires blood, and a single donation can potentially save up to three lives. The American Red Cross is dedicated to ensuring that blood is readily available for those in need, and blood drives like the one in Covington play a vital role in achieving this goal. There is a shortage of all types at this time.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org. and 137.

Streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment.
