COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – A grief support session sponsored by ConnectionPlus Health Care + Hospice will be held in the Educational Wing of First Christian Church at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Bill Gilliland, area minister and hospice chaplain/grief counselor will facilitate the session.
Anyone going through the grief journey is welcome and urged to attend. Thoughts and discussion for the evening will center around the topic of “Embracing the Uniqueness of your Grief” from Dr. Alan Wolfelt’s book “Understanding Your Grief.”
“Even though most of us share many of the same experiences in the grief journey, our grief can also be very unique and personal.” Gilliland said. “It is important for us to discover those uniqueness features and give them a special place in our hearts.”
First Christian Church is located at 231 E. Fudge Street with plenty of parking in the rear.
Those attending should enter through the double Family Life Center doors and follow the signs.
