AHPS educators and service personnel honored at AHCOC annual dinner meeting

LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Highlands School Board recognized AHPS educators and service personnel of the year on March 17. The employees received honors from the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism during its annual dinner meeting at the Greenbrier Resort on March 15. Educators and service personnel from each school were recognized. First row, from left: Vicki Hayslett, Sharon Elementary educator of the year; Katie Gibson, Sharon Elementary service personnel of the year; Sandy Moss, Mountain View Elementary educator of the year; and Kerry Claeys, Callaghan Elementary educator of the year. Second row: Nicole Eggleston, Alleghany High School service personnel of the year; Teresa Calvert, Alleghany Highlands Public Schools and Jeter-Watson Elementary service personnel of the year; and Tina Fields, AHPS and Covington Middle School educator of the year.
