Ryder Jackson Wins First Place in 12U Heavyweight at Virginia Athletic Wrestling Association State Tournament

ROANOKE, Va. (VR) – Ryder Jackson (R) of Covington claimed first place in the 12U Heavyweight division at the Virginia Athletic Wrestling Association (VAWA) Kids Folkstyle State Wrestling Tournament, held March 8-9 at Roanoke College. Ryder was participating in the tournament with his Majika Eagles wrestling club. The coach is Max Harris. Grit Wilkins (L) from Carroll County Wrestling Club earned second place in the same division.
