LYNCHBURG Va, (VR) – Alleghany High School’s 4×800 meter relay team secured an impressive 7th place finish at the State Championships. The squad not only earned a coveted spot among the top teams in the state but also shattered their own school record in the process.
The Alleghany runners demonstrated exceptional improvement, slashing an impressive 11 seconds off their previous best time. This significant drop highlights the team’s dedication to training and their ability to perform under pressure on the big stage.
