LYNCHBURG Va, (VR) – In a stunning display of athletic ability, Alleghany High School junior Kiera Lowman has once again proven her dominance in the world of high school track and field. On Tuesday afternoon, Lowman secured her sixth state championship title, winning the 3,200-meter run at the Class 3 state indoor track championship held at Liberty University. From the moment the starting gun fired, Lowman took control of the race, maintaining her lead from start to finish. Her impressive time of 10:47.44 not only secured her victory but also showcased her exceptional endurance and speed. Lowman’s closest competitor, Ashland Dickel of Spotswood, finished a distant 13 seconds behind.

This latest triumph adds another jewel to Lowman’s already illustrious high school career, and she has demonstrated a level of consistency and excellence rarely seen in high school athletics. Her six state championships speak volumes about her dedication, training, and natural talent. As Lowman continues to dominate the track, many are already speculating about her future prospects. With another year of high school competition ahead of her, there’s no telling how many more accolades this young athlete might accumulate before potentially moving on to collegiate-level competition. Congratulations Kiera!
