Edward Loiseau, Jr.
Mr. Edward Thomas Loiseau, Jr., age 79, of Covington, died on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at his residence. He is survived by his partner, Floyd Wesley Harrison.
Mr. Loiseau was born October 31, 1945, in Long Island, NY, the son of the late Edward Thomas Loiseau, Sr. and Mary Helena Kohlmeyer Loiseau. He lived in Washington, DC for a number years and was employed as a contract officer for the United States Federal Government with the General Service
Administration before his retirement. Edward was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his partner, Floyd, Mr. Loiseau is survived by one son, Edward Thomas Loiseau, III and wife, Lorraine of Woodbridge; two grandchildren, Timothy Robert Loiseau and Mikayla Kinsey; three great grandchildren, Nicholas R. McLaughlin, Juliette Loiseau and Tate Loiseau; three brothers, Thomas Martin Loiseau, Vincent Loiseau and Robert Loiseau; three sisters, Mary Loiseau Brodzik of Warminister, PA, Kathleen Loiseau Choikov of Delanco, NJ, Christine Loiseau Palazzo of Philadelphia, PA; his former spouse and longtime friend, Marilyn Loiseau Zeitfuss; thirteen nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews, great – great nieces and nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Loiseau was preceded in death by a son, Robert William Loiseau in 1993; two nephews; and a niece.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2025, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Father Ernest Dugah officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Alexandria, VA .
