Registration Continues For ‘Overcomer’ Study At Granbery In Covington

Registration continues for the upcoming six-week study using the book “Overcomer: 8 Ways to Live a Life of Unstoppable Strength, Unmovable Faith, and Unbelievable Power,” written by Dr. David Jeremiah.
The study will kick off on  Thursday, Feb. 27,  at Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church.
The study will be held throughout the upcoming Lenten season on Thursdays, from 1-2 p.m., at the church, located on the corner of Main Street and Maple Avenue in downtown Covington.
The Rev. Sung Yoo, pastor of Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church, will lead the group study.
The schedule for the six-week study and topics are as follows:
• February 27 — Overcoming Falsehood with Truth;
• March 5 — Overcoming Evil with Good;
• March 12 — Overcoming Anxiety with Peace;
• March 19 — Overcoming Fear with Faith;
• March 26 — Overcoming Confusion with Wisdom;
• April 2 — Overcoming Temptation with Scripture.
The cost is $7, which will cover the purchase of the book, which should be obtained prior to February 27.
