LOW MOOR Va,  (VR) –  The Alleghany Cougars Boy’s basketball team has much to celebrate as their starting five received well-deserved recognition in this year’s all-district honors. The postseason accolades highlight the team’s exceptional performance throughout the season and the individual talents that have contributed to their success. Leading the pack with First Team All-District selections are Chase Depriest and Xavier Hayslett. Their outstanding performances on the court have not gone unnoticed, cementing their status as key players in the district. Eli Entsminger’s skills and contributions have earned him a spot on the Second Team All-District, further underscoring the depth of talent in the Cougars’ lineup. Rounding out the honors are Mason Hale and Bubby Entsminger, both receiving Honorable Mentions. This recognition speaks to their significant impact on the team’s success and their potential for future growth.
