Griffith Sworn in for 119th Congress, Statement on Speaker Mike Johnson’s Election

WASHINGTON, DC (VR) –  Friday, January 3, 2025 – The U.S. House of Representatives voted to elect Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House. Following Speaker Johnson’s election, U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) joined fellow Members of the House to be officially sworn in for the 119^th Congress. Congressman Griffith released the following statement:
