Teresa Gaines Spangler, 50 of 2337 S. Church Street died Monday, April 9, 2018, at Lewis Gale – Alleghany  Hospital.
She was born October 16, 1967, in Alleghany County a daughter of Gene and Linda McCulley Gaines of Covington.  

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jayson Gaines, in 2012 and a sister, Yvonne Gaines, in 2015.
She was a teacher’s aide in the Covington City School System for a number of years and was currently serving as a Para Professional at Covington High School.
Surviving in addition to her parents are two Sons, Brandon M. Spangler  and  Adam W. Spangler, both of Salem;  her Fiance’, Jesse Cales, of Covington;  her Sister, Helena Hubble and her Husband, Joe, of Covington;  her Brother, David Gaines, of Roanoke; her Granddaughter, Anzleigh Spangler of Salem and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Jody Gaines, of Covington.
The funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2018, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Ratliff officiating.
Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.
The family will receive their friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
