Please vote for the Virginian Review Alleghany and Bath County ‘Football Friday’ Players of the Week for week 8. Three players from each school are nominated and combined together in one poll. We will take the top vote getters and announce the winners from each school on Monday nights (time may vary week-to-week). Again, there will be a winner from each school. Voting closes Monday, October 21, 2024, at 9:00 PM.

Nominees:

Bath County (beat Eastern Montgomery 62-0):

Bath County’s offensive line: scored combined 283 points this season– Allowed 1 sack– Have opened up huge holes for running all season–Completely owned the line of scrimmage.

Wyatt Superman Campbell: 162 yards rushing 2 rushing TD’s– Threw for 64 yards and threw two TD passes– While on defense, caught an int ran it in for 6 points

Ethan Bryant: 74 yards rushing and two TD’s–recovered one fumble

Alleghany (defeated Glenvar 34-7):

Des Jordan: 20-23 passing, 272 yds, 4 total TDs

Hunter Knighton: 5 catches, 119 yds- including a 71-yarder

Carter Nicely: 168 yards rushing and a TD
