LOW MOOR- In what should come as no surprise, Alleghany Cougar quarterback Des Jordan has been voted the Virginian Review ‘Football Friday’ player of the week after a stellar performance in Alleghany’s season opening win at Waynesboro.
The junior threw for 149 yards and had a hand in four total touchdowns. He ran for three scores and passed for another.
