Alleghany Golf Goes Down to Greenbrier East

COVINGTON- The Greenbrier East Spartans golf team traveled to the Cliffview Golf Course in Covington on Tuesday and came away victorious over the Alleghany (VA) Cougars.

The Spartans finished with a team score of 160, 10 strokes better than the Cougars 170.

For East, Issac Hutchison yet again led the way with a score of 38. Hutchison is beginning to set the tone as a low round medalist for the Spartans and is off to a fantastic start to 2024.

Sam Roshau’s 39 placed him second on the Spartans as Issac Cantrell (40) and Nate Dolin (43) rounded out Greenbrier East’s top four.

Alleghany was led by Kai Rowland, who shot a 41, and Eli Dressler’s 42. Jacob Morris (43) and Bubby Entsminger (44) also performed well for Alleghany.
