COVINGTON- On Tuesday evening, Aug. 20, the Covington Middle School Cougars opened home their 2024 home volleyball season with a victory in straight sets (25-4 and 25-22) over Central Academy Middle School.
In the 25-4 set, CMS’ Eva Arritt led the Cougars to 17 consecutive points and controlled her teams’ side of the net.
CAMS fought hard in set no. 2, but it was too much CMS on this night as they got their season started on the right hand.
Covington will host Glenvar Middle this Thursday, Aug. 22 at 5:30 PM.
