CLIFTON FORGE – The Clifton Forge High School Alumni Association plans to establish an Athletic Hall of fame for its former athletes and supporting personnel such as coaches, quarterback club participants and newspaper reporters.
The former high school existed from September 1928 through June 1983.
Current members of the alumni association will be asked to submit names for five athletes and/or supporting personnel they feel best represent the sports achievements of the school.
Honorees will be selected for the first Hall of Fame Class of 2010.
Alumni who are not currently members of the Alumni Association but wish to participate may do so by submitting $10 for association dues along with their selections to the CFHS Alumni Association, P.O. Box 118, Clifton Forge, Va. 24422.
