DALLAS, Texas – Anne M. Lennon, formerly of Hot Springs, passed away in Dallas, Sept. 23, 2009 at the age of 92.
She was married to Thomas J. Lennon for 58 years. Mr. Lennon was the president of The Homestead for 35 years.
During her years in Hot Springs, Mrs. Lennon was a driving force at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart, president of the Warm Springs Garden Club, a competitive golfer and a compassionate and understanding friend to many.
Mrs. Lennon is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Lennon Pampillonia and husband, Bob; son, Skip Lennon and wife, Patsy; daughter, Theresa Lennon Gardner and husband, Mickey; daughter-in-law, Shirley Lennon; sister Amelia Joyce; grandchildren, Patrick, Tommy, Barry, James, Courtney, Christine, Shannon, Robin, Anthony and Chris; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Lennon; and a son, Patrick J. Lennon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas J. Lennon Memorial Scholarship Fund, administered by the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges, 8010 Ridge Road, Suite B, Richmond, Va. 23229.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Hot Springs, officiated by Bishop Walter Sullivan.
