Mr. Renato Aldea Guieb, of 211 E. Fudge Street, died Friday, January 8, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Guieb was born in Manila, Philippines, the son of Ruth Aldea Guieb and the late Antonio Guieb. Formerly employed as a Chemical Engineer in the Phillippines, Mr. Guieb worked in the medical office of Dr. Erlinda Aldea. He enjoyed watching American Idol with his friend, Nancy, traveling to the Phillippines, going to the local flea markets but most of all, he loved his family.

In addition to his mother, Ruth Aldea Guieb, Mr. Guieb is survived by Lourdes Fernandez, Jimmy Guieb, Nora Lienhard of Switzerland, Dennis Guieb fo Wellington, New Zealand, Leo Guieb of Clifton, NJ, Marivic Preysler of the Phillippines, Cesar Guieb of Manila, Phillippines; his favorite aunt, Dr. Erlinda Aldea; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his friends, Jimmie and Debbie Barber of Covington; co-workers and friends, Nancy McFarland, MaryLouise Harlow, Wendy Gibson, Crystal Griffith, Lauren Webb, Ann May and Jenna and Morgan McFarland.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Karen Buzzard, 807 McCormick Blvd, Clifton Forge, VA 24422, American Heart Association, c/o Joy Brackman Weeks, Memorial Chairman, 2212 Dressler Drive, Covington, VA 24426, or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
