The Covington Police Department investigated two incidents which have resulted in arrests for malicious wounding.
The first incident was reported at approximately 8:45 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6 and occurred in the 500 block of Alleghany Avenue.
The complaint alleges that a verbal argument escalated to a physical attack. Following an investigation, Brandon L. Tolbert, 30, of Covington was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, a class three felony.
Tolbert is currently being held in the Alleghany Regional Jail.
The second incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 and occurred in the 1900 block of Clark Street.
The complaint alleges that a verbal argument escalated to a physical attack. The investigation has resulted in the arrest of two individuals for malicious wounding and one individual for assault and battery.
The individuals arrested for malicious wounding, a class three felony, were Brandon L. Tolbert, 30, of Covington and Jacob Robertson, 25, of Covington.
Both individuals are currently being held at the Alleghany Regional Jail.
The incidents remain under investigation.
