CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Barbara Ann Ross Robinson of Charleston, W.Va. died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
She was born in Charleston, W.Va. April 7, 1934, the daughter of the late Theodore and Gladys Woods Ross.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Baby” Robinson; a son, Anthony Robinson; and a sister, Carolyn Ross Hunter (Rev. Hunter). “Barbarann,” as she was affectionately called, was a Garnet High School graduate and truly loved her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherrie R. Davis (Vincent) of Charleston, W.Va., Rose R. Coleman of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Jannie R. Patterson (Kevin) of Charlotte, N.C.; sons, Charles “Robbie” Robinson (Robin) of Aiken, S.C. and James Robinson (Lisa) of Richmond; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda R. Palmer (Richard) of Covington, Thelma R. Lewis (Don) of Charleston, W.va., Betty R. Clark (Robert) of Charleston, W.Va.; brothers, Theodore Ross of Covington, Marvin Ross (Carolyn) of Covington and Johnny Ross (Mary) of Norwalk, Calif., as well as a host of family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 12 p.m. in Charleston, W.Va.
