Dwain and Janie Tyree of Hot Springs, and James and Jane Saylor of Lewisburg, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tara Leigh Saylor, to William Tyson Uzzell.
Miss Saylor is a 2003 graduate of Covington High School and received her bachelor’s degree in social science from Radford University in 2007; she is enrolled in the Master’s of Leadership Program at Mary Baldwin College and is currently teaching at Covington High School.
Mr. Uzzell is the son of Bill and Christy Uzzell of Covington. He is a 2000 graduate of Alleghany High School and is currently employed MeadWestvaco in Covington.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church.
