Please vote for the Virginian Review Alleghany Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 5-10. Two boys and two girls are listed together. We will take the top boy and girl vote getter and announce the winners on Monday nights (time may vary week-to-week). Voting closes Monday, Feb. 12 2024 at 6:00 PM.

Nominees:

Xzavier Hayslett- hit arguably the biggest shot of the year, a jumper at the final buzzer to beat Radford and gave huge momentum for the Cougars in the playoffs

Abbie Fridley- 16 points, including 4 threes in a loss and averaged 11 points over 2 games

Kole Caldwell- ultimate hustle player, unsung hero type in Cougars win

Bryce Leitch- averaged 13.5 ppg in the last 2 games

Oops! Sorry about that, voting has closed.

But wait! There's another one coming up very soon!
