Covington City Public Schools is providing emergency meals during the unanticipated school closing, effective Wednesday, March 18, through Wednesday, May 20.
No meals will be served on Friday, April 10, 2020, and Monday, April 13, 2020.
Meal service will resume on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the three locations listed below. Meals will be served Monday through Friday between 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. at designated areas within the city limits.
Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
These emergency meals will be grab-n-go bagged meals. Designated areas will have a school bus parked with school personnel giving out these grab-n-go bags.
Listed below are the locations and times for these grab-n-go bags to be picked up:
• Covington High School (teacher parking lot) 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
• Edgemont ARP Church (parking lot) 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
• McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church (parking lot) 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
