CLIFTON FORGE — Clifton Forge Town Council will meet this evening at 7 p.m. via teleconference.

Action items on the meeting agenda for this evening will include:
— A resolution to authorize the town manager to execute documents required for a grant application for the A Street water line replacement project.
— Adoption of a Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development non-discrimination policy, which is required for the Roxbury rehabilitation project.
— Adoption of resolution to correct a technical issue in regard to a previously approved loan with BB&T.
— Appropriation of $620 in donations to the police department.
— Approval of a request to allow Relay for Life to use the 500 block of Church Street for a luminaria display on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
— Consideration of a request by Audrey Millard of Acacia Street to offer a parcel of land in exchange for two portions of alleys owned by the town.
There will be a closed session to discuss appointments to boards and commissions and contract evaluation.
