Bath Co. Board Of Supervisors To Hold August Meeting This Evening

WARM SPRINGS — The Bath County Board of Supervisors will hold its regular August meeting this evening, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Circuit
Courtroom on the second floor of the Bath County Courthouse.
Items on the agenda for this evening’s meeting include:
— consider amending Chapter 14 of the Bath County Code concerning businesses licenses;
— public hearing to consider amending Chapter 6, Article IV of the Bath County Code concerning regulation of noise;
— public hearing to consider increase in courthouse security fees;
— public hearing to consider Virginia Hot Springs Company’s request to rezone approximately one acre of land from M-1 (Light Industrial)?to R-3 (Residential Medium Density) in the Cedar Creek Magisterial District;
— schedule public hearing to consider amending Chapter 15 of the Bath County Code exempting household items, farm and forestry equipment from Personal Property Tax;
— schedule public hearing to consider amending Chapter 15 of the Bath County Code to waive annual short-term rental registry fee when in possession of current Bath County business license;
— appoint housing committee.
Due to COVID-19, masks must be work in the Bath County Courthouse at all times according to orders from Circuit Court Judge Ed Stein and Gov. Ralph Northam.
