Over the last several weeks, the Virginian Review held an online competition that enabled high schoolers to nominate, and then vote on a winner in various different sports categories. These categories included but were not limited to, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, track, golf, tennis, soccer, etc. In each category, student-athletes were nominated based on athletic excellence in their sport.

The winners were awarded trophies while both runner-ups received medals. Most awards were handed out at the Jackson River Sports Complex on Tuesday, June 13th, but some remain unclaimed. If you are a student-athlete who won or was nominated, please come by the Virginian Review, located at 201 W. Locust Street in Covington anytime during office hours to claim your prize.

Our office is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Virginian Review wishes to congratulate each of our winners and nominees for all of their athletic accomplishments! We look forward to seeing you soon!
