The memorial plaque beside the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Covington has been erected to mark the place where Esther Agnes “Aggie” Albert was murdered. On the front-page article about the razing of the Collins Hotel in the Wed., April 18, edition of The Virginian Review, l, M. Ray Allen, incorrectly stated that the murder victim was Lilly, Aggie’s sister.
