14th Annual Triathalon

CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (TVR) – On May 5, the 14th annual Alleghany Highlands Triathlon sponsored by Clifton Forge Main Street will take place.

If you have never taken part in the race, the event is a 5k run, five-mile kayak, and is followed by a 10-mile bike ride.

The race itself will begin at Sharon Community Center in Clifton Forge and ends at the Masonic Amphitheatre.

Following the race there will be an awards ceremony, food, live music, and prizes all at the Masonic Amphitheatre.

Those that are participating in the triathlon can do so as a solo competitor or on a team with three people.

Awards will be given to the top member of each age group and the top teams.

Registration for the 14th annual triathlon is open.
