GAP MILLS, W.Va. — Florence Isabelle Lucas Wickline Schumaker, 86, of Gap Mills, W.Va., passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at the Woodlands Health and Rehab in Clifton Forge. 
She was born Jan. 5, 1934, at Hollywood, W.Va., the daughter of the late William Thomas Lucas and Florence Hoke Lucas.
She is survived by one son, David B. Wickline and wife Marylin of Sweet Chalybeate; two grandsons, Chad D. Wickline and wife Christy of Clifton Forge and Joe E. Wickline and wife Caron of Monroe, N.C.; five great-grandchildren, Carter and Maddox Wickline and Jorja, Cadon and Carli Wickline; two sisters, Kate Miller and Beulah South of Union, W.Va.; two brothers, Arnold Lucas and Bernie Lucas of West Virginia; and also a number of nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe B. Wickline; her second husband, Ben T. Schumaker; a son, Bobby Joe Wickline; a grandson, David Benjamin “Little Ben” Wickline; two sisters; and four brothers.
Isabelle worked for 25 years at the Andrew S. Rowan Nursing Home in Sweet Springs, W.Va., as a cook. 
She was an excellent cook. 
The family would like to thank the Woodlands Health and Rehab in Clifton Forge for the excellent care she received while there the past seven months. 
Also, Mountain Regional Hospice while she was still at home, and caregivers at times, Linda Cook, Diane Griffith, Mary Ann Palmer and Pat Tucker.
Graveside services were  held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Mountain View Cemetery at Sweet Springs, W.Va. with Pastor William “Bill” Keeney officiating. 
Those who attended the graveside service were asked to meet at the cemetery by 2 p.m. 
Due to the regulations associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, those who attended the service were recommended to social distance and wear a mask.

Pallbearers were Dewey Boggs, Jake Bostic, Eddie Helms, Keven Jackson, Ricky Lucas, Ernie Palmer, David Schumaker and Carter Wickline.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Isabelle’s honor to Forrest Memorial Chapel Community Church, 416 Stone Road Covington, Va. 24426 or to the Mountain View Cemetery c/o Jean Schumaker, 578 Mountain View Road, Sweet Springs, W.Va. 24941. 
Arrangements were handled by Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, W.Va.
