Chamber Hosting Candidates Forums

The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism will sponsor several local candidates forums leading up to the Tuesday, Nov. 3, election.
Forums will be held for Covington City Council candidates, candidates for Clifton Forge Town Council and those seeking seats on Iron Gate Town Council.
On Monday, Oct. 19, a forum for candidates seeking seats on Iron Gate Town Council will be held at the Iron Gate Firehouse, beginning at 6 p.m. 
The candidates forum in the city of Covington is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, in the cafetorium at Edgemont Primary/Jeter-Watson Intermediate School, beginning at 6 p.m.
Also on Tuesday, Oct. 20, candidates for Clifton Forge Town Council will participate in a forum, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Historic Masonic Theatre in downtown Clifton Forge.
