After losing four of their previous five games, the Mountain Gateway Community College Roadrunners (6-15) rolled past the Appalachian Bible College Warriors 75-49 Tuesday at Armory Gym.

The Roadrunners were led by four Roadrunners who scored in double figures in the win.

Donovan Arnason scored a team-high 20 points. Tyriq Brown scored 19.  Meanwhile Sharaef Fleming (off of the bench) and DaeDae Bowens each had double-double performances. Fleming scored 14 points and brought down 10 rebounds, while Bowens scored 12 and had a game-high 16 rebounds.

The Warriors were led by Simon McAllister who scored a game-high 24 points and finished the game with a double-double performance with 12 rebounds. Jonathan Brooks added 12 points.

Despite being outnumbered in total players 10-7, the Roadrunners outscored the Warriors bench 19-3.

Turnovers played a factor for the Warriors as the team committed 25 of them.

The Roadrunners are back home tomorrow as they host Oxford College of Emory University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and then host Southside Community College on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
