Patricia Diane Johnson of Covington, gained her Heavenly wings Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021.
Patricia was born Dec. 14, 1951, the daughter of Fred Johnson Sr. and the late Beatrice Johnson of Richmond.
Diane, as she was affectionately called, was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church.
She enjoyed baking desserts for church programs.
She was loved by the church and the Cherry Street family and neighbors.
She adored Mrs. Dorothy Wallace, who called her “Diane J.”
She loved living in Covington, taking road trips, shopping and cooking.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Louis (Jacqueline), Kirby, Violetta and Najeen; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; a host of nieces, nephews and relatives; and a dear friend, Diane Wallace.
A walkthrough viewing will be held at Mimms Funeral Home, Richmond, today from 2-6 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A private funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 11, and can be viewed live on the internet at 1 p.m.
Interment will be held at Maury Street Cemetery.
