The Covington City Council met on Jan. 3, and reorganization of the City Council resulted in Tom Sibold continuing as mayor and David Crosier remaining as vice-mayor.

Covington City Manager Allen Dressler presented his report, and City Council set the agenda for the upcoming Tues., Jan. 10, meeting to include Susan Hammond, VDOT resident engineer.

Hammond will report on the Rayon Bridge project.
