Highlands White Christmas Unlikely According To National Weather Service

The National Weather Service has released its forecast for Christmas which three words describe, “sunny and cold.”

Christmas day’s temperature has been forecast to have a high of only 26 F under a sunny sky with a low of 2 F.

Rain is in the forecast for Thurs, Dec. 22 at night with a wintry mix followed by showers.

On Fri., Dec. 23, rain and snow with a high of 34 F followed by sunny and breezy conditions are forecast to set the stage for the weekend with a sunny Sat. and a high of 21F.

Santa will have to rely on artificial snowmakers to deliver his gifts on Christmas Eve.
