Sponsored by Covington Parks & Recreation in conjunction with the Alleghany/Covington 4H Club, “The Gingerbread House Building” event at the Jeter Watson Center provided entertainment for 33 children on Fri., Dec. 9.
All of the children were treated to free popcorn, cocoa and a movie, “Shrek the Halls” from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
Some of the children chose to create crafts while other concentrated on building a gingerbread house.
“The Gingerbread House Building” event was free of charge as was the popcorn, cocoa and movie.
