City of Covington offices Thanksgiving closing information

Covington, Va. (VR) – City of Covington offices will be closed on Thursday & Friday, November 24-25, 2022 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Refuse collection for Monday, November 21, 2022 and Tuesday, November 22, 2022 will be collected on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Refuse collection for Wednesday, November 23, 2022 and Thursday, November 24, 2022 will be collected on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

Refuse collection for Friday, November 25, 2022 will be collected on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

The Peter’s Mountain Landfill and State Offices (Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer and Registrar) will also be on the above schedule.

All offices will reopen on Monday, November 28, 2022.
