Sara Kagarise, co-founder of Strategic Talent Results, LLC., has become a member of the board of directors for the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Virginia.
“I was participating in a professional development event when I was asked about my interest in volunteering for the IFC VA,” Kagarise recalled.
After she expressed an interest in doing so, Kagarise was invited to interview.
She remembered, “I was interviewed by current board members, and after the interview, they invited me to serve on the board.”
Kagarise earned an A.A.S. degree in radiologic sciences from Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke.
She also holds a B.S. in science and health administration from Old Dominion University and her M.A. degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Alder University.
Currently living in Roanoke, she works with clients to facilitate improved profits via human capital gains, including reduced turnover, increased leadership effectiveness and increased job satisfaction.
As for her view of coaching, she remarked, “Coaching is a way that I can help people unlock their potential to maximize performance and well-being in order to achieve personal and professional goals.”
She concluded, “Coaching is available to anyone who is looking for support to achieve goals or navigate through life’s challenges.”
Kagarise considers human capital as an organization’s most important asset, and her leadership coaching has helped improve the work environment so that leaders can become more effective.
When she is not at work, Kagarise, the daughter of Paul and Karen Graham of Covington, enjoys the outdoors with Christopher, her husband, who is also from Covington. The couple loves hiking, kayaking and boating.
