Nicole Gumm Groseclose Insurance Solutions is an “Apple Sponsor” for the 7th Annual Campsite Cook Off that will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Whispering Pines Campground in Douthat State Park!

The competition will consist of 21 different competition teams cooking 4 meats and 1 side challenge, all unknown to the teams until the night before the event.

Teams will be competing for an overall cash prize of $1,000. Samples will be free to spectators with a $10 admission fee, and kids 10 and under get in free!

There will be a lot of food and craft vendors on location as well as entertainment throughout the day by A1 Dance Studios, Patsy’s Dance Studio, Garlynda’s Dance Studio, Alleghany Highlands Blues Society, A Rally Cry, and Chad Nickel and The Loose Change!
