Charlotte Hazel Warwick Martin Loughner, 88, of Covington, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at her residence.
She was born April 20, 1934, in Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert Nelson Warwick ad Mary Ann Pauline Head Warwick. She was married to the late Charles Arington Martin who preceded her in death and the late Donald Dorian Loughner who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Loughner retired from Dominion Power where she worked as a secretary.
She was a member of Emory United Methodist Church; she loved quilting, gardening, and cooking. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother.
She is survived by four children, Richard Martin & wife Wanda of Falling Springs, Gladys Martin of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Phillip Martin & wife Drema of Hot Springs, Virginia, and Connie Martin of Covington, Virginia; four sisters Eleanor Fisher, Mildred Lowry, and Nell Broce all of Hot Springs, Pansy Gibson & husband Steve of Mountain Grove, Virginia; eleven grandchildren and spouses, Melissa & Chucky Via, Christopher & Danielle Martin, Carl Vandevander, Jr. & Dana, Lisa Vandevander & Aaron Digrassie, Joshua & Lacie Martin, Benjamin Martin, Toby & Kelli Martin, Jeremiah & Laura Martin, Garrett & Jessica Martin, Charlotte Norman & Paul Hicks, Sarah Norman & Chris McClure, and Erin Norman; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2022, at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home in Hot Springs with Reverend Lynn Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
