The City of Covington would like to make citizens and businesses aware that due to unforeseen circumstances the Peter’s Mountain Landfill will be temporarily closed until mid-week next week. We will update everyone when the Landfill is reopened. At this time, please take your refuse to the Island Ford Transfer Station in Alleghany County.
