CLIFTON FORGE — Tammy Sue Ellen Richmond, age 61, of 800 Dagger Springs Road, Eagle Rock, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
She was born January 17, 1960, in Covington, Virginia, to Mary Frances Downey Richmond of Clifton Forge and the late Mason Edward Richmond Sr.
Tammy attended Galatia Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and was a lifetime waitress and cook. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, horses, and rabbits.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her partner, Carroll Campbell of Eagle Rock; two daughters, Kimberly Martin and her husband Randy of Farmville, Kerrie Hoke of Eagle Rock; a son, Scott Rowan of Covington; six brothers, Wayne Richmond of Covington, Dale Richmond of Clifton Forge, Mason Richmond of Bedford, Jimmy Richmond of Selma, Timmy Richmond of Clifton Forge and Willie Richmond of Kentucky; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 2 p.m. in Galatia Cemetery, Eagle Rock, with the Rev. Robert McRae officiating. Interment will immediately follow.
