The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office has made three arrests in connection with a string of residential burglaries that occurred between June 2011 and May 2012.
According to Alleghany County Sheriff Kevin Hall, Samantha Depriest, 21, of Rosedale, Kaitlin Webb, 21, of Ogles Creek, and Elliot Hooker, 30, of Brentwood, have all been arrested and face charges related to the burglaries.
Hall reported that investigating officer Lt. R.C. Fridley has been successful in recovering several thousand dollars worth of stolen property.
Stolen items included jewelry, medications, U.S. currency, cameras and a firearm.
The burglaries occurred in the areas of Rogers Road, Rosedale Drive, Higgins Hollow Road and Brentwood Drive, all in Alleghany County.
According to Hall, Depriest faces five counts of breaking and entering and six counts of grand larceny. Webb has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering and three counts of grand larceny. Hooker has been charged with one count of breaking and entering and one count of grand larceny.
