The Curtis A. Smith Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1033 recently recognized its Covington Little League team and the Covington Little League All-Star teams with a dinner held at the Post home in Altamont.

The dinner was held to help fulfill the VFW’s mission to support youth in the community, which also includes supporting the Boy Scouts, as well as the Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy essay contests.

Approximately 50 people attended the Little League recognition dinner.
