The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Lynsay Jones, of Covington, has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in Language Arts.
This prestigious honor is bestowed on fewer than 10 percent of all American high school students.
Jones, a student at Clifton Middle School, was nominated by Ashley Wilson, a teacher at CMS. She will appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s Official Yearbook, which is published nationally.
Jones is the daughter of Keith and Cherie Hicks, of Covington, and the granddaughter of Cheryl Newby of Hopewell and Keith and Nancy Hicks of Covington.
