CLIFTON FORGE – Clifton Forge Town Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Clifton Forge Public Library, 535 Church St., Clifton Forge.
Council will:
– Hold first reading and a public hearing on the proposed 2012-2013 General Fund Operating and Capital Budget;
– Hold first reading and a public hearing on an ordinance imposing and levying taxes within the town of Clifton Forge for fiscal year 2012-2013;
– Consider second reading of an ordinance concerning the request of Gerald Franson to purchase town-owned property located at 717 Pine Street for the sum of $1,000.
– Consider resolutions regarding Virginia Retirement System contributions for the employer and VRS member contributions by salary reduction.
A closed session will follow for the purpose of discussing legal and real estate matters.
