Wes and Susan Walker, of Covington, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Lynn, to John Ross Sapliway of Westminster, Md.
Miss Walker is a 2012 graduate of Virginia Tech, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in biology and psychology. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in occupational therapy through Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mr. Sapliway is the son of John and Debbie Sapliway of Westminster, Md. He is a 2012 graduate of Virginia Tech, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental science with minors in leadership and chemistry. He is serving in the United States Navy, with the rank of ensign, and is currently in Nuclear Power School.
A wedding is being planned for April 6, 2014, in Richmond.
