MILLBORO, Va. (VR) – BARC Electric Cooperative is reporting power outages affecting several communities after losing its transmission feed. The affected areas include Johnson’s Creek, Falling Springs, Mt. Grove, Hot Springs, Warm Springs, Millboro Springs and Brattons Run. According to BARC, crews are currently assessing the situation to determine the extent of any damage. The cooperative has not announced an estimated time for power restoration.
